God's Plan of Salvation:
Every person is born into this world in a natural
state of sin.
God requires a perfect sacrifice for sin.
The death of His Son Jesus on the cross paid the price for our sin.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that
believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the
name of the only begotten son of God.
The following verses from God's Holy Word in the book of Romans explain
very clearly God's revealed plan for our salvation.
Who is Good?
Romans 3:10 As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one.
Who Has Sinned?
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Where Sin Came From.
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and
death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have
sinned.
God's Price for Sin.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is
eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Who Paid The Price?
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us.
God's Offer of Salvation to You.
Romans 10:9 - 11 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For
the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Take God at his word and claim his promise by calling on Him for your
salvation.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved.
Pray this
prayer and sincerely mean it with all your heart and soul:
Dear Heavenly Father; I ask you to come into my heart and life right
now, I confess that I am a sinner, and with a repentant heart I ask you to forgive my sin. I
accept your son Jesus Christ as my Saviour, please save me in Jesus name,
Amen.
If you prayed that prayer, God heard it and saved you. We encourage you
to start attending a local Bible Believing Baptist Church to grow in your new
found faith in Christ. Your next step is to confess your salvation
before men and enter the waters of Baptism.
